Military Clean-Up Day

Join Friends of Green Lawn Cemetery and local military members for a clean-up party. All volunteers are welcome to join. Anyone interested in participating should contact Twyla Simpkins at FOGchesterpa@gmail.com.
“Money was never set aside for Green Lawn Cemetery’s long-term care and maintenance needs. It’s a shame how easily old cemeteries seem to be forgotten about,” Rep. Carol Kazeem said. “That’s why I’m so excited to have a group of people together ready to beautify this historic place, and we’re looking for more skilled laborers to join us so we can have an even larger impact.”
